I briefly close my eyes, And greatly heave a sigh, Hoping, a nightmare, I’ll not see. Across my vision dances, A pixie that entrances, Asking, “What will thy prelude be?” Starry skies popped in my head, While resting safely in my bed, Knowing, finally my mind was free. “Fare thee well,” the pixie bid. And sleeping like a little kid, Dreams! They finally came to me. -Jessica Mayo 10-13-2018 AdvertisementShare this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading... Related
